EDPA Hospital is a company limited by shares started in 1996 and incorporated in June 2009 with a mandate to provide quality medical services in Bunyoro region and beyond.
In 2024, it was upgraded into a Hospital offering both in-patient and outpatient services with consultancy and specialized services in all medical disciplines.
We partner with UAP Medical Insurance, Jubilee Insurance Company (U) Ltd, AAR Health Care Services, Case Hospital, Insurance Company of East Africa, St. Catherine Hospital, ICEA, GA, APA Insurance, CIC Insurance, Liberty and Prudential Insurance in the provision of Health Services to their insured clients.
We are also a major service provider of corporate organizations and walk-in clients in the region.
We operates 24 hours a day and we are strategically located to ensure easy accessibility in a serene environment and adequate parking space. Currently, we have a 27 bed capacity and a potential of a fully-fledged hospital.
We have self-contained private rooms, general wards, spacious reception, consultation rooms, theatre, dispensary, cash office, accounts office, administrator’s office, store, laboratory, dental unit, Ultrasound & X-ray rooms, waiting spaces, flash toilets and bath rooms. The theatre is fully equipped to handle both minor and major operations.
The radiology unit performs X-rays, ultrasonography and contrast studies.
The dental unit handles treatment of all dental and oral infections as well as tooth replacement.
